The 13th edition of the Safety Assessor Course will begin with sessions focused on the Cosmetics Regulation and EC guidelines for safety assessment.

Technical and scientific topics will be addressed, such as the problem and identification of allergens, CMR substances, and endocrine disruptors; in vivo, in vitro, and in silico safety assessment methods; and the importance of ingredients, processes, and packaging for product safety when used by both consumers and professionals.

There will also be exercises and group discussions, a well-established aspect of the course and highly appreciated by students. At the end, an exam will assess the acquired knowledge, essential for the SICC Safety Assessor.

The course is intended not only for those who possess the mandatory degrees required by the Cosmetics Regulation to perform the role of Safety Assessor, but also for cosmetologists or entrepreneurs who wish to gain autonomy in submitting formulations to the assessor that are sufficiently guaranteed from a cosmetic safety perspective.

The course will be held at the Hotel 2 Mari, chosen for many editions for its location directly on the splendid Baia del Silenzio in Sestri Levante.
